I have absolutely no interest unless and until they receive a letter from the NCAA informing them that they are being investigated.

There are a lot of bammer fans on here that will down vote anything anti-spuat or pro-Auburn. For example, I posted a little while back that I had talked to Shon Coleman and he told me that he would be full speed for this spring (that doesn't mean that he is back to his old self and will be competing for a starting job, just that he will be full speed). This post got 2 down votes. I posted another about a conversation that I had with Mike Blakely and how he is excited to have CSL here now. That particular post got 5 down votes. But, like a post I posted today, you're going to have some down vote you just because they have absolutely no sense of humor whatsoever and go through life being miserable all the time.

On the other hand, those like myself, can take things with a grain of salt and enjoy the rumors for just what they are, rumors. Rumors are started about AU on a daily basis in an effort to hurt AU, and we all know this. Therefore, I have no problem with any rumors about spuat.

Ok. I have a friend that is a supplier to Drummond Coal. Anyway, he was at Drummond in Mobile last week. Some of the employees were talking to him and the subject of TJ Yeldon came up. The Drummond employees said TJ's dad hadn't had a steady job in 15 years, but he is working for Drummond now. They were laughing about how they were sure he had this particular job because of his son signing with spuat. Now, this is the very definition of rumor so take it for what it's worth. TJ's father may be a doctor with a 25 yr old business for all I know.

Happens with Alabama Power too. And you can bet we do it too.........

I was going to say that I'm sure people getting jobs is one of the more common tools of persuasion used by fans who have the power to make it happen. Good chance coaching staffs (at all schools) don't even know when it does and doesn't happen.

Rumors are ok as long as they are labeled as rumors and not written as fact. I'd hate for AUC to become like the Bunker with all the conspiracy theories and crazies. At some point that was 90% of what was discussed there.
This place is better for real discussions and real facts. Just my opinion.

I hope nobody thought the original post was meant to be a post about spuat getting in trouble with the NCAA. Even if TJ's father was unemployed until right before his son flipped to spuat and he was hired by a company whose CEO is a prominent spuat booster, it would be very difficult to prove that there was quid-pro-quo. Also, I'm a firm believer that the NCAA is not looking to bust anybody that hasn't already been busted in the media. The NCAA has turned into a "cleaner" organization. If a scandal has been made public in the media and the media won't let it go, the NCAA will show up and act as though they have everything under control. They are not interested in bringing scandals to light. Just my opinion.
