Our current issues with recruiting these kids started a long time before the delay in hiring an OC and DC. I think that every program we're going up against has been negative recruiting against us with regards to the cam situation, hbo 4, the 4 robbers, our blowout losses, dyer transfer and the departure of our ex-DC and OC for some time now. We're currently seeing the fruits of their labor panning out. While I don't agree with others on here that you can read into anything Patterson said in that interview as to whether we have a shot or not, I do think that if signing day is a bust that you can blame a lot of that on the fact that every kid we're recruiting has been hearing from every other program how the aforementioned situations are spelling our doom as a program. I don't think you can chalk up any misses with recruits as to lack of effort on behalf of our coaching staff. I believe that if we can have a pretty good season next year and can be competitive in every single one of our games, including any losses, we'll be back to the type of classes we've grown accustomed to since CGC and co. arrived on campus. Hell, I'm a firm believer that if we can stick it to clemson to start the season that will give us some major momentum. They've got a lot of momentum from the media right now and they'll likely be a top 5 team to start the season.
