I think the biggest problems which is obvious is our OC .. you can tell he's a rookie .. on top of that the struggles at qb and the youth on the o-line .. it falls back on CGC for doing such a poor job of bringing in the OC.. with the youth at the oline we shud be running a lot more quick slants , stop routes , and out routes .. instead of play action pass everybody go deep .. n the run plays stretch left stretch right .. its a joke right now
We do not have a qb that can throw the ball accurately, that my friend, is the #1 problem.
FYI. KF played 1.5 quarters against TA&M and was sacked 4 times. 3 were avoidable. Our QB's were never prepared to run this offense. We should have never gone this direction so quickly. The pro-set is a loser in college football. There are few, very few teams with the talent to run the pro set and they all have solid defense.
Without a shut down defense you can expect to lose two or three games just because of the inability to score enough. Match that with the worst offense in the SEC and most of college football. 2-7. End of story. CGC had every advantage to dominate and prolong success, but by his hand and incompetence he has crashed and burned our wonderful football program.
Why does anyone give CGC or CSL any credit of excuse. Who could not see that defense was a problem in 2009 and continued to sink through 2011? Who here believes that our offense needed to change to help our defense? Who believed that CSL would be able to devise an offense based around existing talent? I Did! Now I am pissed that CGC led us to believe that CSL's diversity and QB experience was the perfect hire. He was not CGC first choice and CGC has been less than truthful to the Auburn people ever since.
I am sure CGC was hoping he might be able to make things work with CSL, but I don't think he ever really believed he could. CGC has had 4 weeks to prove he could show change and get Auburn moving in a positive direction and he has failed. It is time for him to step aside and give Auburn ample opportunity to replace him before 2013.
