Tale of Two stories regarding prayer meetings---- then poof. I will definitely get on the computer this afternoon to listen to the show. Just hope that this isn't one of Bill Cameron's day off.
kick 'em in the ass, big blue.
Yep. I was looking for it too. Weird for it to be totally removed.
I must have missed something. Didn't look like anything bad the last time I looked.
If Tim Jackson stood in front of a group of players and asked for prayer for himself, JJ and Chizik, I think that is a big story. If a small prayer group met and some of the players asked for that same prayer, not a big deal.
I'm probably one of the last people to ask for prayers, but if it was as simple as asking for prayers, regardless of how large the group was, it's not an issue. Perfectly acceptable if someone has faith and is going through what could possibly be hard times.
"you're so vain, I'll bet you think this post is about you, don't you? Don't you?"
My take would be in what manner it was asked. If he stood up and said "pray we keep our jobs", to me that's unacceptable. I guess you're correct, just asking for prayers would be acceptable. I probably worded that wrong previously.
I absolutely agree with you there. But if it was just a "pray for me" I'm good with it.
