I assume Rich McGlynn still resides in Auburn? I assume our compliance people have been sifting through this.
Based on what I've heard, I'm not so concerned about jovon's situation. There's the vague inuendo that Trooper and Luper may have been taking shortcuts. Do you sense any concern along those lines from Compliance?
Kids, (a) Changing speeds is more important than a curve ball (b) you play defense with your feet & (c) Wayne Hancock is the tits.
Phillip...I was wondering what you think about the "letter" situation these days. The NCAA has been changing their procedures and their approach to these kinds of things for a while now.
Do you still see an "LOI" as an indication of "investigation" verses poking around asking questions?
Or do you get the feeling (like I kinda do), that we don't really know the NCAA anymore like we used to, and it's kind of an unknown what they may or may not do at any given moment?
I'm not an insider by any means nor do I expect anyone to believe me but, I actually heard about this a couple of weeks ago. Well, just heard it was about to or going to happen. And Trooper and Luper's names were the only one's I had heard. I heard something about impermissible benefits to players and Robinson's name was mentioned. That's really all I got. Now this comes out and I'm like Oh, well, I guess it was true to an extent.
