My answer comes with an asterisk... I think that bobby petrino would be the worst hire based on the fact that it's possible that if a big name coaching job opened up within a year or two (Texas) and they were to offer him more money, he would bail on us in a minute...
Sorry but I think just about any coach would bail on their school for Texas.
That may be true... but every coach doesn't have a history of bailing on teams like petrino does

How many times was Saban the head coach of a team and left them midseason? or after signing a 10 year deal? or after illegally using school money to hire his mistress?

You didn't include his mistress in your post.....only the history of "bailing". Saban bailed a couple of times. Not bailed on the Dolphins but lied until the day before he left. But, after all...who counting? The most important issue is who can lead AU out of the darkness? My opinion...BP. Who's even a distant second? Fisher?
