My very first Auburn game (and incidentally my first college football game) to see live was the LSU "interception game". The LSU fans were raucous, loud, and just loving life. By the end of the game, you could have heard a pin drop in their section and the rest of JHS was shaking down to the foundation.

1990 Auburn vs FSU in Jordan Hare. I was a xfer into AU and 20 years old. A powerful unforgettable experience. Still talk about it to this day. Your first time is a one-time feeling.
For me it was 1970, AU/UGA. Got to see Sullivan and Beasley. AU was favored to win but lost. Nonetheless I was hooked at 11. Was more enthralled with the school than the football at the time. Seven years later I was a freshman(unfortunately thru the Barfield years). I remember scouring the game program. I also remember reading that the stadium was begun in 1939, and thinking that was "old"(31 years at that time). Ironically, I've been gone since 1981(30 years) and the first upper deck, which was built while I was there and opened in 1980, my senior year, is, 31 years old now. So suddenly, 31 years isn't that old anymore.
My first AU game was 1969 - ALA v. AUB - Legion Field in Birmingham. AUB won 49-26 with Sullivan and Beasley. The fake punt by Connie Frederick was awesome!!! The AU fans were yelling for Coach Jordan to go for "2" point conversion to make it 50 - but being the gentleman that he was - he didn't listen to us!!!
kick 'em in the ass, big blue.
Strive for perfection in everything we do. Take the best that exists and make it better. When it does not exist, create it.
I go back a little ways before you guys. My first Auburn game was vs Clemson in Mobile, November 19, 1955. Auburn won 21-0. I was still in high school. My freshman year at Auburn was 1957.

This too was my first game. My brother (21 years old) and I (9 years old) were sitting in the wooden end zone bleachers. After all the yelling and screaming my brother said I had one of the most serious looks on my face when I asked him, "Why didn't he kick the ball". He was my only sibling. He passed away two years ago this month. He would have been proud of the 2010 season. I know I sure am.

1968.....AU and Georgia Tech. Legion Field. Rode the bus from Sheffield to B'ham. The route actually went by Legion Field.
Never forget walking thru that tunnel into the north endzone seating area. I couldn't believe the noise and the atmosphere. I was hooked. I remember how good I thought Mickey Zofko and Mike Kolen were.
By the way, if I remember correctly, I was wearing a dress shirt and tie. Times have changed somewhat. :)
Auburn v Southern Miss 1993
1989 AU-UA game, yeah that pretty much sealed my fandom. "Whats the difference between an Auburn deer and an Alabama deer?" About ten points.
Auburn-Florida 1983. As a high school freshman, watching Florida fumble as they were going into the end zone, Auburn recover, and the great one (Bo) rumble 83 yards for a touchdown is still one of the most vivid game sequences of all time for me. War Eagle!
AU vs Georgia 22-22. AU came out in the orange jeseys the 2nd half if I remember right. Andrews ran wild. He scored on the last play of the 1st half and an official blew it with a bad call. Sat around the 45 yard line. Great day with my dad and some close friends.

Auburn vs Houston, Sept 64 we won 30-0.
Scot by blood, Southerner by Birth, Auburn Tiger by choice - War Eagle!
Seriously, don't take me too serious.
1966 Auburn VS Alabama. My uncle took me, his hatred for Alabama has forever been etched in me!
Auburn v. Tenn at Legion Field in Birmingham mid 1970's. I was 4ish and I can still remember standing outside the stadium waiting to go in. I'll never forget the hundreds of ORANGES launched from the student section at the Vol players as they ran out of the tunnel!
