For way too long, Auburn fans have had an inferiority complex. I have never understood this. Our school is better, our town is better, our people are better, our colors are better, our campus is better, and for damn sure, our football team is better.
If you don't go into every season as the goal of being undefeated National Champions, you have already lost!
Takem down one at a time, Too bad for Clemson, They are first. WAR DAMN EAGLE!
Alabama fans love Alabama football
Auburn fans love Auburn University

Being realistic and knowing that we aren't going to win the national championship ever year isn't the inferiority complex. The inferiority complex comes from our fans worrying about what bama does so much. Sitting there and saying our team is going 14-0 every year and all that just makes you look uninformed. Like Georgia fans every year. "it's the year of the dawg!" And as we all know, it is never the year of the dawg.
That being said, we as fans are always disappointed after a loss, but we know we cant win them all. By your full proof philosophy we should have won every single game, every single year, and every single national championship.
Sure I want to win every game, but going around spouting off "we're going undefeated!" Just makes you look like a homer.

I was going to put a witty joke here, but I forgot bama fans still use picture books. So I thought I'd expedite the process for you...
WE COMING . WAR EAGLE !
If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?
Oh no he didn't
9-3 with a 10th win coming in a bowl game. That would leave me satisfied. Furthermore, to finish off this recruiting class like the signs are pointing to as one of the best of all time. Continue to stock pile the talent as we move forward to truly get back in the thick of things. The schedule will be brutal in 13, so I think 14 will be when we can make big noise again. But for this season, I would be completely content with 9 wins, and a 10th coming in a January bowl game. But mostly, I just want any losses we do have to be competitive. It was tough to sit through the losses we had last year. It's one thing to lose, it's another to get decimated and the losses we had (especially UGA, LSU, bama) were just that. So if anything being competitive in all games would be another point of contentment for me. WDE.
