Here's the latest I'm hearing on the status of Auburn assistant coach Rich Biaccia:
* Bisaccia has been offered, officially or unofficially, an opportunity to join the Dallas Cowboys as special teams coordinator for a lot more money than he makes or can make as Auburn's special teams coordinator/running backs coach.
* As of 10 p.m., no one I talked to who was familiar with the situation believed Bisaccia had taken the job. However, the general feeling was that there was a good chance he would.
* Bisaccia was out recruiting for Auburn on Wednesday night and is scheduled to be again Thursday, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Most coaches are committed to doing their jobs right up until the day they leave.
Hmmmmm. Money talks 9 times outta 10. Was excited about this guy.

If he goes, what do we do from here?
Que Sera Sera! If he stays Awesome , if not, Can't blame him. CGM will have to Move fast to get the right guy but fast is how he rolls.
jadennis said... Never forget, yachts and strippers pay off in recruiting.
Fearless and true.
Don't get me wrong, I am sure it's a wonderful opportunity financially but I wouldn't touch a job with the Cowboys with a 10 foot pole, Dallas is a dumpster fire waiting to happen. That said, it he get's a $1,000,000 + or even double his pay at AU then I get that he might want to get his pay check and I for one don't have a problem with someone getting paid.
Bisaccia would probably get a look from the new HC in the event Garrett were fired next year. I think Auburn was simply leverage for negotiating with teams looking to hire him.
Bring back Boulware! Horton can coach RBs.
To the people saying bring back Boulware, he just got hired at Wisconsin. I want Duke's TEs/ST coach, Ron Middleton. He's an Auburn letterman and Dukes STs were really good this year.
Thanks for the late night update Phillip!
Really hope he stays... Was looking forward to him after all I had heard about him.
Well that stinks! Money can buy anything I suppose (well I know). Screw Dallas.
I think Bassacia was very well liked by most AU fans and players and many were very excited about having him. Well, there it is....in college, players flip because other coaches have coaxed them away; in the pros, other coaches are flipped because they get a lot more $.
just curious as to why this got down-voted. Seems like an honest question to me given the situation...

"Get in where you fit in." Life is, Too Short TL;DR
Why So Serious?
It's a new day in Auburn football!
Well you have to also look at the possibility of jason garrett out of a job next year. One more 8-8 season and missed playoff and this guy will be looking for his third job in as many years. Hope he stays. WDE.
