Worry only about things which you can change, the rest will either work themselves out or kill you......either way, no more worries.
Dont foget that right nwo the only Big four natty to not be held by an SEC team is the womens basketball championship
NOW THAT IS HOW YOU SPELL POWER!!!!
If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?
Last few baseball championships too thanks to USCe. SEC is where champions play.
Auburn from day one.
Not to be mean spirited but I really don't give a rat's hind end about the sec and I was not pulling for ky.
To each his own. But it is nice to know that your team plays against the best of the best. If you want to be the MAN YOU GOTTA BEAT THE MAN!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I think that's RATS A$$ if you want to get specific!
Aren't you forgetting 06,07, and 08 for football NCAA Champs as well, or am I just misunderstanding the original post?
Throw in 2004 if you Will. And I believe them gators had a bit of a multi-sport bite a couple of years back. Funny, the great uga makes ZERO appearances. Lol. ...great.....hahaha.
Hating uga since 1892.
I'm gettin' old and my memory is failing me.
Had a flash back, 1957!!!
Oh, & here's to 2012!
I hate that they have had our number over the past few years excluding 2010. It gives their fans some bragging rights and I hate that because they are the most delusional fan base on the entire planet....I hate UGA just as much as the tards from tusca
Meh, it happens... No problems though. War Eagle
Just listening to a local channel as we speak.
Word is, the SEC has won 74 (yes that's seventy four) national championships in all sports since 2000.
12 years, 74 titles = 6.16 per year.
Not bad I think.
FEEL THE POWER OF THE SEC!!!!
The SEC is by far the best all around conf in the land. I dont care how many usless stats the other confs throw at us. IT seems to me they clain each individuals national championship IE we had 20 track kids win the natty in their category.....The SEC counts it BY TEAM... and still crushes the competition.
SEC SEC SEC POWERHOUSE!!!!!!!!
I think the stats he listed were including track and other individual champions, or else I don't see how the SEC could win an average of 6.16 NCAA championships a year.
Don't really know what qualifiers were used for the 74 as I was just quoting a local sportscaster and have not brothered to look up any stats, but:
There have been twelve SEC schools for the twelve years since 2000 and I'm sure I'll overlook some sports; however, football, basketball, baseball, softball, swimming, track & field, vollyball, equestrian, soccer & gymnastics come quickly to mind with some having both women and men's teams.
So, assume as a minimum 12 sports, 12 teams, 12 years = 1728 champions so I don't see 74 out of 1728 or 6.16 out of 144 as being too farfetched.
Whatever, I sure hope a lot more of 'em end up at the loveliest village in the next twelve years!
WDE, GO BIG BLUE!
Oh I wasn't doubting your post or anything I was just wondering and speculated that individual champions were probably included. Either way, everyone in the country truly knows at heart which conference is best. Bitter jealously has showed it's ugly head for the last few years from LittleEleven fans and the Pac-12 or 16 or whatever they are now.
C/o '06. WDE! KCCO!
