Meh, still nobody is going to hammer Bama on this. If I had been the coach that had a player get asked to greyshirt, I'd ban those coaches from my school.
Happy days are here again!!!!
" Because if he had gone to Alabama, he would’ve probably just have been another number.”
I hope Bryant Gumble and real sports have a story on this clown. These parents need to start steping up. I heard a bspn talking head say "Saban rarely misses on a player." Memo to talking head if i pulled commitments like Saban does; even I could look like a recruiting guru.

Do or Do Not, There is no try!!
It really bothers me when a grown man in a position of authority, such as a head coach, toys with a teenager's dream and future just so he (the head coach) might be able to win more games on a football field and therefore feel/seem more successful. Coach Saban may win games as a coach but is a loser as a man in my opinion.
My heart goes out to this young man and others that were taken advantage of by any coach. Good on him for finding another school. I wish him the best at UK. Chase your dreams young man!
To me it looks like the Atlanta Journal has already hammered them a little with this article. And even more so with the survey of the readers' "best guess on why Saban asked Taylor to 'grayshirt'." When I last checked the results, 78% of the readers thought it was "Too many commitments" not the "Knee injury." I bet my friends on here know how I voted. If nothing else this article once archived should help our recruitment over in GA next year.
I do have one question, how many more young men have to be done this way before the rules are changed to provide them some protection?

Saban is pathetic!!! But that fan base is no different. Updyke - Teabagger- Finecsum! Nothing matters but winning, forget the cost or casualties. The most frightening part is the turning a blind eye by espn and all the other Saban lovers. We all know that this entire group literally done everything in their power to try destroy us during 2010. They only want to concentrate on the negative where we are concerned. Until "Somebody in the media decides to tell the truth about Bama" , it will never change. It is a concerted effort to oversign, lie, cheat, and steal.......anyway possible and why not..........they get away with it and the media spends it as a genius lovefest! Sick!!!!!
If the media decided to tell the truth, they might start falling up stairs. That is no joke.

We're on the same page here. People need to remember that Alabama fans will murder to protect their football.
"God told me that Alabama was not the place for me."
My sentiments exactly
Alabama fans love Alabama football
Auburn fans love Auburn University
Have to agree.
When we go head to head with a kid from now on, I hope our coaches bring this article and the video of Darius Philon too. By the way, there has to be some kids that were "Processed" out of UA. Why don't we get some tapes from them and use that against Saban. Hell, I don't care if somebody else like Tennessee or Mississippi gets the recruit, but Saban really doesn't need to get any kids at all anymore. He uses them as if they're machinery. You know, I bet I feel worse for my car when it has a problem than Saban does for a kid he processes out of his program. In the case of Darius Philon, he's just happy Auburn didn't pick the kid up and have him on the field. How can he KEEP bringing these kids in?!?!? He has no care for them at all it's obvious. I HATE Nick Saban. The man is a piece of garbage and he treats his players like trash.
It may be in poor taste but any coach who had any such history would/will not be allowed near my boy. At school home or anywhere else. If the schools or coaches at my son's school didn't respect that decision we would have some serious problems.
I usually don't post comments about stuff like this, but watching this situation and the one with the kid that eventually signed with Ark. really rubs me the wrong way. In reality the Alabama fan base and school administrators should be upset with how this situation transpired but we know that will not be the case. Saban will be defended by the bammers to the last street in the trailer park........ Really a sad state if something isn't done about it.....Glad we have a coach with morals, integrity, and a love for the kids committed to this program.
you know it may not be too long before he pulls this crap on a young man whose father ask for a one-on-one meeting with him and puts knot on his head for pulling these kind of stunts. Fathers don't like anyone messing with their boy!
Sparkey, did you have a great birthday this week?
Amen n Amen... +1
