Here's a statement from Auburn AD Jay Jacobs...
“It is obviously an extremely serious situation anytime allegations of point shaving are made. When this matter was brought to our attention in 2012, Auburn immediately reported what we knew to the FBI, the NCAA and the SEC. Since this matter is a pending criminal case, it is not appropriate for us to make any further comments.”
Here's the story on former Auburn point guard Varez Ward being indicted on two federal charges....
Varez Ward was recently indicted in federal court for alleged point-shaving while he was playing for Auburn.

It seems that the national media once again has a non-story to latch onto to somehow portray Auburn as a rogue school with a rouge athletics program. Of course, they will not mention that Auburn did not put Varez Ward up to shaving points (as has been alleged) or that if he did do what is alleged, it was HIS DECISION to do so. It's amazing that every decision someone makes is not somehow the responsibility of that individual. Our society is in the crapper...
Lovely.......especially the nice photo with the AU Jersey so prominent! Well, we did take immediate action........
I hate that
What could they do? Make us vacate our wins in basketball? What wins?
