Van Gorder has the rep as a outstanding defensive coordinator. How many of the teams he has coached has won championships? I can't think of any. Anybody know?
WE COMING . WAR EAGLE !
Not even sure he has a good rep. I was told when he was hired that he was pathetic. I think it was a lot of hype.

I don't think that with everything that's been going on and the tidbits that we occasionally get from players, coaches and other anonymous sources that have seen what's going on behind the scenes firsthand, that we can know who is at fault in any aspect of this football team. When it comes specifically to VanGorder, I really don't see how someone with that kind of experience, that kind of resume, and someone who is so respected by so many people in the business, whether it be coaches or ex players, can possibly be fully responsible for what we have seen on the field lately. There is just no way in hell that this is all his fault.
I like him and think he is a good coach. I think it's painfully obvious that we have programs not with schemes and coordinators. I think the problem is with the guy that makes a lot bigger decisions.
