Urban Meyer, The Rat!

  • Watch for the HC @ THE OSU to do everything in his power to take OSU to the next level. He needs all of the help that he can get, and I assure you that Meyer is just like Saban....."me first" has a picture of both of them. His interests only lie in what benefits him, not the student-athletes or anyone else for that matter. He is the one that couldn't seem to leave the Cam Newton allegations alone. Mullen wanted to move forward, but good ol' Urban wouldn't have it. In the end, there was nothing found on AU, but has he apologized? Nope! Just like Saban, it's not in his nature. He has no "character"! As soon as he has OSU clicking and teetering on the brink of participation in the BCS Title game again....he'll pull every string in his arsenal. He just may be the one to bring down the evil empire to the west of us. I just hope that we stay above board and open, even on the little secondary infractions that everyone slips up and commits....because Urban is watching/waiting....to bring down any school/league that stands in his way of winning a title. And we all know that him winning a title at THE OSU is a long shot, at best, and will need a down year for the SEC to accomplish it....so watch out. Urban is! You heard it here first! WAR EAGLE!

  • Urban is going to win 2 ways. 1 is beacuse it's the Big10, plain and simple. 2 is because he will have good coordinators. Look what happened to him his last year at Florida when Mullen and Stong left. He's not that great of a coach, in my opinion.

  • I am not sure that I agree with your comments. I remember Tim Tebow talking about him and thought he was a good man. The Newton "case" was certainly unusual and the role he played outside of what was reported may have been worse, but telling Mullen to go ahead would be what I would have said based on the issue of integrity alone and nothing against Auburn personally. Before he got to Utah, they were not much and he was credited with building the team that beat Alabama in the bowl game, althoiugh not the coach at the time. He is intense about rivals and would not even call BYU anything but the school down the road long after he left Utah. Clearly, he is a good recruiter as you can see by all the flips he produced for Ohio State with little time. As for winning in a BCS championship at Ohio State we will have to wait to see his results on the field. Although I do not like him personally for his TV comments, his sense of entitlement and his disdain for Auburn, which is obvious, I think he will do real well at OSU and challenge for a national championship in three years or sooner. The talent in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Illinois will make it possible but he'll still need to get those real good defensive linemen from Florida.
