my dad and uncle were always huge fans. Had a cousin that was a majorette and married a football player who later became a coach with Shug. When i was young we would visit on game weekends and they would get us great seats. He got me autographed footballs and pictures of Sullivan & Beasley then Henley years. He coached Langner, Billingsley,Fuller. I was hooked from then on.
My grandfather graduated from Auburn in 1948 after he returned from WWII. The combination of him taking me to games and ushering the games as a Boy Scout....
Best decision of my life... WDE
"An Auburn Man needs no introduction"
I was raised in a house full of bama fans and was a huge bama fan growing up. My first Bama game was "the Kick" game that Tiffin won for Bama. I went to a Jesuit college that had a 3-2 program setup for engineering with Ga Tech or Auburn and ended up going to Auburn. After that, the town, the people and eventually the team won me over and have been Orange and Blue ever since.
Born in to the Family. Grandfather was a 20 yr proffessor at AU and Grandma was a 20+yr secretary in the entomology department at AU. Mom was a grad Uncle is a Grad and ME and My wife are grads.
Spent every summer of my life until I moved to AU in AU. Grandma would send all the press clippings of all the games...OF ALL THE SPORTS. Had a WAR EAGLE hat before I even wore hats much. Still have my 34 little tike uniform with Plastic helmet. It will soon be my sons AU outfit.
Just really could not see my life with out AU in it!
If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?
"you're so vain, I'll bet you think this post is about you, don't you? Don't you?"
Parents are alumni, so I was birthed into it as well. Even got brought home from the hospital in a Bo Jackson Jersey.
Happened when I went to Auburn instead of LSU. Best decision I could of made. Had the best time at Auburn.

Was being raised as a turd but even then i didn't like their attitude.I had a coach in grade school that was an AU fan and he really made a great impression on me.I was also in the same class as Bo Jacksons brother when he signed with AU.Just the stars aligning for me i guess.WDE!
