Was bouncing around the tBB and saw a thread for two deeps before fall practice. Here is mine for our squad, what do y'all think?
QB: Kiehl Frazier
---- Clint Moseley
FB: Jay Prosch
---- Blake Burgess (I think they want to leave Lutz more for the passing game)
RB: Onterio McCalleb (although he is not a traditional every down back, he will get the nod)
---- Tre Mason
WR: Emory Blake
---- Travante Stallworth
WR: DeAngelo Benton
---- Jaylon Denson
TE: Phillip Lutzenkirchen
---- Brandon Fulse
LT: Greg Robinson
---- Avery Young or Jordan Diamond (both true frosh)
LG: John Sullen
---- Patrick Callahan
C: Reese Dismukes
---- Tunde Fariyike
RG: Christian Westerman
---- Eric Mack
RT: Chad Slade
---- Patrick Miller
DE: Corey Lemonier
---- Craig Sanders (although Keymiya Harrell looked good in spring)
DT: Jeffery Whitaker
---- Angelo Blackson
DT: Gabe Wright
---- Kenneth Carter
DE: Dee Ford
---- Nosa Eguae
LB: Daren Bates
---- Anthony Swain
LB: Jake Holland
---- Cassanova Mckinzy (if nothing else because his name is cool)
LB: Jonathon Evans
---- Kris Frost
CB: T'sharvan Bell (if healthy and is looking to be that way soon)
---- Ryan White
CB: Chris Davis
---- Jonathon Mincy
S: Erique Florence
---- Ikeem Means
S: Jermaine Whitehead
---- Demetruce McNeal
I Believe Auburn and Love IT...4 Life!
You should prepare yourself to live with the consequences of your decisions, whatever they may be.
I agree with this for the most part. A few changes:
WR Reed/Coates or Ray
This is what it looks like when a man makes heaven
come out of his six string
Just from talking with different players, this is where I believe our guys will start out once the coaches start working on putting the 1st and 2nd teams together. Again, this is just for the start of fall practice and is in no way intended to be a guess where guys will end up permanently because as we all know, some guys end up in places that we never would've guessed. Also, there will be some formations this year that will present some odd personnel combinations on offense. Just get ready for it.
QB: Frazier ---- Moseley (there is no arguing this one)
RB: Onterio McCalleb (ceremonious starter), Tre Mason/Mike Blakely/Corey Grant are all situational 2nd team players ( I don't know anything about where Robinson stands as of right now but I do know that he has been impressing his teammates with his hardwork in the player led workouts and his learning the playbook)
WR: Emory Blake ---- Stallworth/Coates (more situational stuff but could also be at the other WR position)
WR: DeAngelo Benton ---- Melvin Ray/Ricardo Louis (but all three may be superseded by the back ups previously mentioned due to situations)
FB: Prosch ---- Lutz/Fulse/Uzomah (Just trust me on this one)
TE: Lutz ---- Fulse/Uzomah/Prosch (Again, just trust me on this one)
LT: Greg Robinson ---- Jordan Diamond/Callahan
LG: Chad Slade ---- Mack/Westerman
C: Dismukes ---- Tunde
RG: John Sullen ---- Mack/Diamond
RT: Patrick Miller ---- Slade/Avery Young (Young may be a stretch for a backup)
DE: Corey Lemonier ---- Owens/Delaine
DE: Dee Ford ---- Eguae, Harrell/Sanders
DT: Jeffrey Whitaker ---- Wright/Blackson, Niles
DT: Kenneth Carter ---- Blackson/Wright, Sigler
OLB: Bates ---- Swain/Garrett
MLB: Holland ---- Landrum/Owens (been hearing talk of him studying the playbook for this position again, but just studying so far) McKinzy will most likely redshirt but would play if we incur more injuries at this position
OLB: Evans ---- Frost/Swain
CB: Mincy ---- Ryan White/ Ryan Smith
CB: Davis ---- Therezie/ Ryan Smith
S: McNeal ---- Bell/Means/Fisher
S: Whitehead ---- Florence/Fisher
Nickel: Bell ---- White/Smith
EDIT: The thing to remember about the OL is that there will be a combination of the best 5 OL on the team. The 2nd team that will actually see the field won't actually be by a designated backup. It will depend on who is absent from the first team and which one of the reserves creates the next "best 5" combination and this could result in players moving different positions. Right now, two freshmen will be starting at OT's but if either gets hurt, Slade will move out to that position and Mack or Westerman will come in at LG. If Sullen goes out, look for Slade to move over to that spot and still have Mack or Westerman come in. I seriously doubt that we see much out of anyone beyond Robinson, Slade, Dismukes, Sullen, Miller, Westerman, and Mack. If we go beyond those 7, it will most likely be due to injury or because we are killing it, or because we are taking a thrashing.

No war is over until the enemy says it's over. We may think it's over, we may say it's over, but the enemy gets a vote. - Gen. James Mattis
I really like your two deep, but ill say instead of jaylon denson it would be ricardo louis, and also you would have to insert robenson therezie in either corner spot somewhere. JMO but I think therezie will start over tbell, but they will switch between nickel and corner a lot.

this. its going to be difficult for Sanders to find snaps with the Lemonier, Ford, Owens, Nosa rotation.
i think it is so awesome that most everyone has a different opinion of this matter. Means a lot of competition come August.
