Our receivers do need to step it up, but a factor that most people forget about is our inconsistent qb play. It's tough for a wide receiver to have a new qb every year/half a year.
Notice no one complained about our wide receiver play when we had Cam throwing to them. Almost 3000 yards through the air. To get consistent wr play, we need consistent qb play.
I was going to put a witty joke here, but I forgot bama fans still use picture books. So I thought I'd expedite the process for you...
"Brick by brick, my citizens. Brick by brick"
Last year (for the most part) we had QBs that could get open guys the ball, but had difficulty doing so because of the Oline. This year our Oline is doing better than the majority of us thought they would, but the QB is having trouble getting the ball where it needs to be.
As for TT, he is the anchor to our recruiting mega fleet. Pretty sure we shouldn't let him go anywhere unless we knew forsure it was him causing the WRs to not get the ball.
You grad, bro?
Very well said. Spot on.
I've seen several times receivers wide open and the pass not thrown to them. Not pointing a finger, KF has to learn to slow the mental game down. He seems at times rushed to make a decision and when hurried has made some poor choices. I know with experience he'll improve on this part of the game. I just hope his improvement happens before the Georgia game.

'I think TT is also the Asst Head Coach? Maybe he can function there, and as a recruiter. And CGC can hire a receivers coach?'
Problem is there are limits to the number of coaches you can have. They couldn't just make him assistant head coach and then hire another receiver coach.
I still don't think he's an issue as a position coach anyway. Remember in 2009 when everyone wanted to fire Boulware? And now special teams is the lone strong point of the team. I think we have good coaches....we have some personnel weaknesses that effect a lot of other positions on the team and the offensive and defensive units as a whole.
Some threads are started by people who know very little about football.
This is one of those threads.
