I see our performance thus far as any corporate or military leader would; the situation must change and change immediately.
1. Define your mission - what are your ultimate goals?
2. Describe, in writing, your current failures.
3. Who, by name, is responsible.
4. Corrective action to be taken; well-defined step 1, 2, 3.................
5. time table - a specific date.
I think a reasonable course would be consistent 9-10 win seasons; no quarterback, minimal blocking and tackling and minimal "situational awareness" by players - no coaching; JJ, CGC - no sense of losing and less than maximal effort being unacceptable 100% of the time. At a minimum, fire Jacobs, Jackson and Chiz - possibly 1 or 2 AC's - not sure about the AC situation. Fire immediately.
Of note, what are you willing to tolerate in order to win? uat made a conscious decision - we want to win and there are no boundaries. They got exactly what they desired and have no problems with the methods.
Are we willing to go the same route?
Our major enemy at this moment is failure by the decision makers to take very, very aggressive action.
As my father frequently said, when in charge, take charge or get the hell out of the way.
Agree with all points!! We MUST make these corrective steps immediately!!
