Since it's easy to feel like the world is against us right now, I thought I'd draw out a conclusion that's simple enough for all of us to see, we just haven't really acknowledged it.
A few weeks ago, the "People" of the United States wanted to voice their opinion on how the leaders of our government were performing. More than that, the People wanted to voice that they no longer had faith in those they had previously elected (even officials that had been in office for 15-20 years were replaced).
The People voiced their opinion through their vote.
Going into Sunday, awaiting the BCS results and polls, I was worried that the "People" of college football, poll and Heisman voters, would also voice their displeasure or condemnation of Cam Newton and Auburn through their vote.
However, if we follow the People's votes, we actually find support, not condemnation, and at the very least an attitude of "innocent until proven guilty". Not something I necessarily expect these days given the "media" we have been subjected to.
But just like the leaders in Washington turned out to not accurately represent the voice of the People of our nation, apparently the writers and radio wonders we listen to don't exactly represent the voice of the People of the college football nation.
Here are what the "votes" tell us about the People's voice on the matter:

Of course there are some around the country that have jumped off-board the Cam-wagon. But if people speak with their vote in general, the "behind the scenes" support for Cam (or at least support for "innocent until proven guilty") is doing quite well.

There you go again. Injecting logic into our wonderful quagmire of innuendo and half-truths and lies.
I just don't know what we can do to straighten you out, jadennis.
