Auburn grad class of 1985. My Dad and a couple of uncles and my sister also graduated from Auburn
This post was edited by WDEinSoCal 2 years ago
I have two uncles that graduated from AU in the late 60's early 70's. I always wanted to go to Auburn, but received a scholarship to go to Samford. Auburn fan since the 70's
My Dad waited after a game at JH an hour until Coach Jordan came out of the locker room, stadium was empty so I could meet him and get an autograph. Met David Langner that day and he gave me a practice jersey. I was 11 years old.
I was a fence jumper at JH and Legion Field as a youngster, trying to run for daylight between the police when the clock hit 0:00 and on to the field just to get an autograph, water bottle, elbow pad. I would scour the benches for a souvenir.
Through thick or thin, been a Tiger.
They called down the the thunder and now they got it. Tell them hell's coming! You hear?! Hell's coming with me!
You & I were contemporaries. I attended 1958-1962, with masters in 63. I get to become a Golden Eagle this April.
Graduated in March 1987. Freshman year was fall of 1983. Great years.
Received NROTC appointment in '59, graduated in '63. The day I was sworn in was the first day I ever set foot on campus. Met my future wife of 48 years @ AU and have been a War Eagle ever since. Wonderful memories!
Started at the bottom, now we here.....better get used to it.
April '77. But a fan way before I attended.
I never attended Auburn Univ......Been a fan since Sullivan and Beasley were playing and a neighbor took me to Auburn to see them. I loved the experience of the fans, the stadium and the Auburn spirit. Something about underdogs has always appealed to me but I have to admit that being the top dog last year was something I really liked......
My father '49, wife '77, brother '84- Fan since early '60's, son works for University, I've had season tix since '86
Working in IT since USAF after hs, never matriculated anywhere.
