WE COMING . WAR EAGLE !
Isn't it likely that some new highly desirable recruits will follow the new coaches to Auburn, based on relationships? That being said, I wish Reuben the best, along with all the coaches who are leaving. No sour grapes, let's focus on the positive.
I know I am late to the party (by the way guys this is not much of a party), but it is really hard to believe we have kept any of these 4 & 5 star recruits after the pathetic season we had. Thankfully Foster, Liner and the rest of them at least held to there committment to see how the chips fell. Can't blame any of them for leaving and would be grateful to any that stayed. I am just looking forward to the future and trying to forget the last couple of seasons.
This kid apparently had the notion he was going to come into Auburn University and be the "it" factor of our team, the BMOC. He's good, but history is rife with stories of two star and three star players outperforming the five stars at the collegiate level. I was frankly beginning to get the impression that he thought he could come into AU and call his shots. If his ties to Auburn University were all about Trooper Taylor, then he was never an Auburn Man in the first place. Auburn University is about a hell of a lot more than football - even for football players. Just ask those who graduated from that wonderful place. The campus is magic. Its students are magic. There is a magneticism that exists there like nowhere else. The best four years of my life were spent there. Wake up Reuben and come down to earth...
Later dude, You will be missing out on alot, Ellis is much better coach than any other place you will be heading. Good luck.
I am looking forward to what Gus builds at Auburn. What was being built before was a train wreck, so honestly, if the commits de-commit, then they are the ones who will miss out. There is not a finer head coach and company to run Auburn than Gus Malzhan! War Eagle!
I think you hit the nail on the head.
So now RF sucks? Some of you are nuts. He didn't suck yesterday and he doesn't suck today. I hope he changes his mind. If not, whoever gets him gets a stud. I didn't mean to quote your post. Sorry.

He's pissed-he really thought they would keep TT. I think TT really thought they would keep him too. I realize a lot of you people think TT is some kind of criminal but regardless, these kids do love him. As well, I think he's very angry right now but let's not turn on the kid at the moment. The kid loves TT and he is showing how it hurt him TT was just fired like that. Whether good, bad, right, or wrong, he is defending somebody that is very close to him when you consider his two close friends at Auburn High School that just happen to be former coaches' sons. Give the kid a break. He's not in some kind of legal trouble or anything. He's just a kid who thinks people he cares about were done wrong. Regardless if you agree with him or not, at least recognize the virtue in that about him.
