Auburn's first spring practice under first-year head coach Gus Malzahn will begin on March 27. The annual A-Day game is set for April 20. NCAA rules allow 15 practice days in the spring.
Is this later than Chizik used to schedule it? In other words, is Malzahn packing the practices in more densely than previously done? As in more practices per week for a shorter overall period.

Sure seems that way.
Gus dont play games thats for sure! Get it, get it done and move forward. Love it.
Really looking forward to A-Day this year...

If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?
Sorry for a silly question, but I live in Virginia and will be coming down to Auburn in April. Is there free admission to the A Day game? If I need tickets, can I get them in advance? Thanks
In the past, it has often started before spring break and resumed afterward.

Great. The A Day game is after the 4-15-13 income tax deadline this year. As a CPA, that is great news !

PM, is there a limit to how long they can practice each day during Spring Training? If there is, I'm sure Gus will use every second of it trying to get these guys ready for the fall.
Why would you ever purchase a-day tickets in advance? If you are worried about space, don't be.
PM any chance that the practices will be open? If not do you think their is a chance that CGM would allow a pool reporter to attend the practices? I sure do miss going to them and added to no live reporting with a bunch of meaningless videos sure does make me feel left out. thanks for your thoughts.
