I missed most of it. Anyone have the cliff notes?
Kids, (a) Changing speeds is more important than a curve ball (b) you play defense with your feet & (c) Wayne Hancock is the tits.
Bobby Petrino, Charlie Strong, Jimbo Fisher, Gary Patterson, and Paul Rhodes.
Petrino would be loved by a lot of people but there would be some pushback.
Charlie is a good coach. No one has ever retired from Louisville.
Jimbo met his wife at AU. May or may not be interested.
Gary...bad interview last time.
Paul Rhodes...not much.
He doesn't know when the change will be made.
Oh and hey, for a new guy could someone give me a heads up on Ron's background? He was a coach in the league?

i did not remember Patterson interviewing. i assume it was during the Chizik hiring process. What was bad about the interview?
From what I've heard JJ flew to Ames and offered CGC the job before interviewing Coach Patterson. He then flew to Ft. Worth to meet with CGP and someone had already told him the job was offered to CGC.
This he felt they were wasting his time.
How could Patterson's interview be so bad if what Chizik said in his book is true? He just had back surgery & was all doped up on meds, didn't have his PowerPoint presentation or notes for the meeting but somehow knocked them dead & got the job. Patterson must have been hungover w the whiskey farts or something.
Yea, Ron has been on several different staffs. You can google Ronnie Sanders to find out more. I know he has been here at Auburn and Florida but not sure where else.
Auburn '99, Beta Zeta of Theta Xi
Actually, I don't think JJ ever flew to Ames. I am pretty sure they met and interviewed in Texas.
I've heard the assumption that Patterson was a bad interview from a lot of places for a long time. It's mostly assumed since he's still at TCU and hasn't been in serious consideration for a lot of better jobs that have come and gone.
Now that's funny!
The wheels on the bus go 'round and 'round.
