If we sign 17-18 today, how many short of 85 does that leave us? It seems like we needed some back ups in place to fill out the scholarship spots. If not, we are effectively putting ourselves on probation. Perhaps we should take a flyer on a few under the radar guys and "process" them of they don't work out. If we do that, we should be open and honest with the kids that the scholarship is a one year deal.
There apparently are many ways to effectively put yourself on probation. Tuberville showed us one way. I hope CGC isn't showing us another.
We had 69 on scholarship going into today (counting Prosch, Grant, Coleman, and the 4 early enrollees). The eleven remaining commits bring us to 80, So we could only pick up 5 new guys today without going over the 85. This is of course baring any roster attrition that has not been made public yet.
