Found out through facebook then checked BOL. One member of BOL was grazed, apparently there was an assault rifle used. Thinking about the people down there, doesn't matter how much I hate their fans. Best wishes to them.
What is the world coming to? 17 people shot.
"you're so vain, I'll bet you think this post is about you, don't you? Don't you?"
This must be fake; their is no crime in Tuscaloosa County. Especially on the strip near the campus. Surely this happened in Pickens County.
Prediction: Someone from bama nation will assert that the shooter was somehow Auburn-affiliated. Although the two photos shown of the suspect are of poor quality, someone will see an ‘AU’ on the dark-colored hat or on the grey t-shirt.
My pessimistic, jaded prediction comes from too many self-inflicted wounds received from reading bama fan comments besmirching Auburn. The bit of optimism I hold leads me to hope like hell that someone will not verify my prediction as accurate.
I no longer read comments to Auburn and bama stories; it’s too painful to read that much hate and think of the quality of the persons that wrote them.
I hope for full and speedy recovery of the victims of this crime.

What is this ole world coming to when you can't even go in a bar and have a cocktail without fear of being gunned down like it was in Chicago & NY during the mafia rule of those cities.
I hope and pray that all injured will be fine and the the shooter will be caught and prosocuted to the fullest. Just hope the nut doesn't claim to be an AU fan.
Fans look through the glasses of their favorite team far too often. This shooting probably has nothing to do with football, Alabama, Auburn, etc. It's scary that stuff like this can happen.
Malzahn approves of NOW Boot Camp! Well...not really...but he would if he knew about it :) www.nowbootcamp.com
Hopefully you are correct but in the state of Alabama it appears that EVERTHING is about football and both sides have some real rabid nuts out there.
