Defeat doesn't finish a man - quit does. A man is not finished when he's defeated. He's finished when he quits. - Richard Nixon
i think the panthers should be me worried about getting some lineman and defenders than Cam's "mental makeup." The team besides him is AWFUL. Besides i think he showed in 2010 that he has plenty of mental fortitude.

I'm sure he's down on himself struggling this year, after a record year with no training camp last season. He'll be fine, but his management needs to get him some lineman and secondary help more than worrying about him being upset. Cam knows how to deal with pressure. He'll get through this, so they need to get him some help now for when he's ready to rock again.
Please. Give me a break !
How sure are we that Todd Mcshay did not write this article?
How about a dependable running game and some decent blocking? They've got about $9 million or so wrapped up in RBs Williams and Stewart and they haven't shown up a on a consistent basis the past few weeks.
"Brick by brick, my citizens. Brick by brick"
Cam is like a lot of what I call, special players. He does not like to lose and can take it personal. It is called being a competitor. So many players in the pros go through the motions and don't have feeling of pride and the burning desire to win games when they are getting a fat paycheck. Almost all the great ones carry some what of an emotion on their sleeve. Some can control it better than others. but as Auburn fans learned Cam is an emotional type player. Now, Carolina needs a lot of players not only from a talent standpoint but with heart as well. Steve Smith is one of these type players but, the defense is not real good and they have never had a consistent running back. Given time and smart drafting they can put it all together. But any one that does not think Cam Newton is a player and a heart filled team player is not seeing the game as it should be viewed! Just my opinion> WDE
