I was thinking how boring the board has mostly been since signing day and the disappointing b'ball season we were having. I was mentally moaning and complaining and desiring that fall was here to see what Gus will have in store for us and to have more interesting articles to pilfer through. But then I thought, quit complaining. At least we don't have mug shots of players to see, players in the hospital (or worse) from altercations, rapid fire attacks from illegitimate journalists on our players, excessive whining and arguing over an eminent coaching selection, etc., etc.
Hopefully in this quiet period, our AU young men and coaches are working their butts off getting ready to return AU football back to what it has been for 80 years. I believe the talent is there - we just need leadership, discipline, and good ole fashion "coach-em up" occurring. I sure hope we will soon see some D like I saw in the late 80's.
So, I guess, really quiet right now isn't all that bad.
It's always hype in the AUC Crew thread....

"Get in where you fit in." Life is, Too Short TL;DR
Isn't it nice to have some really quiet time right now..... after the unbelievable roller coaster ride we have been on in the past most recent years? I sure hope the quiet continues and all we hear are accolades after A Day. Then your standard, routine reports of summer drills .... then the unveiling of our 2013 football season....... I can't wait!!! WDE
The quiet time is much appreciated...
