"Townes used to say that there's only two kinds of music: the blues and zippity-doo-dah, and this ain't zippity-doo-dah." -Steve Earle
It seems to me that the ratio of carries between Dyer and McCaleb are about like last year. I noted that Coach Mazahn said after the game that they needed to get Dyer more carries. I note that Dyer is one of the players allowed to speak with the media which is a very limited group at Auburn. I note that the team celebrates with him and helped him have a 150 yard day and that this has been the case most every game. All of this doesn't add up to other comments on this topic. Also, it was the Updykes fostering negative talk about Dyer before the season began. Do we have those among us?
"There's no doubt, we're going up."
Seriously, don't take me too serious.
WE COMING . WAR EAGLE !
I'm going to say this nicely, though I'm actually pretty angry about this thread.
Dont get all Danny with us... if you know something. Say what it is. If you dont and are just trying to start crap about someone who has worked incredibly hard against incredible odds to be here... then shut the hell up.
I have absolutely zero tolerance for rumor mongering about kids who work as hard as these kids do. If Mike was angry, good. So was I. If he was a little pissed about not getting more touches.. good. He's a competitor and he should be pissed. Actually the increased roll of Tre Mason made me wonder what was up more than OMac's carries, (though I do agree with one poster about running him between the tackles).
In short, we shouldn't allow rumor mongering without at least having the brass to say what the deal is. At that point, we can form our own opinions about whether the story has any merit or not. Up until then, the thing exists only in the 'dannysphere'.
