Dyin' ain't much of a living, boy - you know who
Looks good to me.
"you're so vain, I'll bet you think this post is about you, don't you? Don't you?"
What offensive statistic do you measure success by?
Gus Malzahn: “Points.”
While I hope we do better than Woods at WR and I'm disappointed in the Grimes hire, I'd be pleased with that staff as a whole.
Pogue, has been with Auburn for the past two years as the special teams quality control coach and was a successful high school coach and coordinator, played safety for Alabama State, and is from the city of Mobile with connections all over the state from his high school coaching days. Background is very similar to another former Auburn coach, Joe Whitt, who was a top flight coach and recruiter. Hope Pogue might be half as good and we might be working with something.

That staff would probably be the 7th best in the SEC.

“they ain't got nothing but people...Alabama mystique...Georgia mystique...they’ve done it with people. Hell, we’ve got people, too.”Pat Dye
WOW great post! I was going to ask about Al Pogue and there's no need to now - very nice
So I will ask about Casey Woods.... Who knows stuff about him? TIA & WDE
Casey Woods, bio for those that are interested:
Casey Woods was the wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator under Gus Malzahn last season at Arkansas State.
Woods went to A-State after spending the last three seasons as Auburn's Director of Offensive Quality Control, working closely with Malzahn during that time. He was a part of three bowl teams at Auburn, including the 2010 squad that won the BCS National Championship. During his tenure at Auburn, the Tigers also competed in the 2009 Outback Bowl and 2011 Chik-fil-A Bowl.
Prior to Auburn, he served as a graduate assistant coach at Tennessee during the 2008 season, working with wide receivers.
Woods was a three-year letterman at Tennessee from 2003-07, playing in 40 career games while also working two seasons as a player volunteer coach. He played in three bowl games and was a member of three 10-win teams. He was team captain of the 2007 Tennessee team that won the SEC East and Outback Bowl.
A native of Starkville, Miss., Woods earned bachelor's degrees in both psychology and political science from Tennessee in 2006. He received his master's degree in sport psychology from Tennessee in 2007. He is currently pursuing further graduate work in sport psychology.
Woods is also the son of former SEC assistant coach and ace recruiter Sparky Woods, former coach at Mississippi St. and Alabama.
Would LOVE to see Rocker back.
All Auburn All the Time!

I will take this staff all day, everyday
Here I came across this in case anyone wants to view it too....Casey Woods profile video for ASU
What makes you excited about that staff? There really isn't a superstar on that list and a bunch of guys that huge question marks.
"There's no doubt, we're going up."
