At 225 pounds...
E Smith 13
W Holland 19
J Harris 16
E Freeman 28
N Thorpe 4
J Wisner 11
Wow, I hope this is a misprint. Great speed and vertical, but this shows a huge lack of upper body strength,
EDIT: I confirm that I can't bench 225 4x.

4 is really bad. Hopefully it wont set NT back too much.

NT has extremely long arms. I remember Kevin Durant couldn't put up 185 1 time at the NBA combine, he turned out ok.
13 for a fullback/running back isn't that great either..
Ive seen Eric walking around campus. He isn't in football shape. Id guess 13 is just what he can do naturally. A 5'9 246 pound football player should get 25+ reps no problem.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but if he hasn't gained perspective from this whole experience and not worked his butt off to be in shape for the pro day then it is kind of an indicator that he doesn't really care enough to be in the NFL. You just can't be a player in the NFL on raw size and raw talent.... you still have to work extremely hard to compliment that talent and size.
What's up with Q Carr haven't heard anything on him. I'm at work so i may have missed something.
Malzahn approves of NOW Boot Camp! Well...not really...but he would if he knew about it :) www.nowbootcamp.com
Doesn't Coach Yox hate the bench press? Why would you expect our boys to do good on bench press exercises when Yox hates the bench press? I'm not saying I have a problem with that nor am I saying I like that. I'm just saying that if our strength and conditioning coach doesn't like something, then our players probably won't be any good at it.
Especially when reps on the bench could literally cost you thousands.
Thousands? Try millions lol. If he doesn't make a team then his life will be significantly less luxurious...obviously.
Well, The NFL puts a high value on the bench press.
The bench press is more of a measure of how willing a player has been to spend time and effort in the weight room. The actual bench press is seldom used in an NFL game. As a matter of fact, I don't know that I have ever seen one. The nearest thing would be an offensive lineman pass blocking. Bench presses are only good for filling out a form fitting UnderArmour shirt. Maybe that is important in the NFL.
