With Pike set to transfer, this leaves Auburn in a QB hole. Only three scholarship QBs means that they cannot afford any injuries at that position. You would assume Wallace will now fall to the scout team QB. If Mosely or Frazier goes down, Wallace is your backup. The next few classes for QB recruiting appear to be critical.
JW will not be the scout team QB, he will be the #3. Until they name a starter, appears CM and KF will split 1st team reps and JW takes 2nd team. Two walkons are the candidates for scout team QB (Tate O'Connor (19) and Ryan Carter (12)).

I don't think we're in a hole at all and I do not consider the pike situation a setback. Jonathan Wallace is obviously someone who truly wanted to be at Auburn. Why do I say this? Because all summer long he worked his tail off. Have you read what the players and coach Chizik have been saying about him? Some people talk a real good game. Others keep their mouths shut and work their tails off. I know which type I'd rather have around.
"you're so vain, I'll bet you think this post is about you, don't you? Don't you?"
Who is this Pike Zeke guy.
Auburn has had 1 QB in 25+ years miss a start because of injury. It just doesn't happen very often. Auburn is in the same position as 95% of other programs as far as the QB situation, meaning if there is an injury to the starter there will be a dramatic drop-off in performance to the second string guy. Its not a set-back to lose a guy who has never taken a snap at the college level and who MAY have been a 3rd string QB.
Apparently a close relative of your's.
You grad, bro?
This is pretty much it. If you are on your third string quarterback by the end of the year, you have bigger issues than good quarterback play. So far, we haven't seen a running away starter quarterback on our team. While I think Frazier has a lot of potential to be great, I am not sure he is there yet. And Moseley could honestly be a very solid, serviceable quarterback in any conference.
