I think we are going to have the SEC's best running game plus our defense will be better (can't get much worse than we were early in the season... the D showed great improvement down the stretch). I know we lost a lot of offensive linemen, but let's also remember that Cam was scrambling and running for his life half the time last year. Maybe playing some new guys will won't be the catastrophe the pundits predict. Plus we have a solid recruiting pipeline and we are well-coached.
It is natural for us to defend our team when the pundits are showing us no love. We as Auburn fans also tend to see the world through orange/blue tinted glasses.
With those statements out there, there are some facts working against us that the so called experts obviously see. We lost more lettermen than any team in the nation, including possibly the best offensive and defensive player on any team. We have a very small senior clas and a new QB. The schedule is brutal. We play more big games away and play the top 3 SEC West
teams, we have a almost entirely new OL, lost our top 2 WRs.
On the flip side, our depth and talent are probably being underappreciated by the national experts. They sure missed on predicting AU's 2010 season.
All that said, that's why we play the games! Can't wait to see these new talented faces on the field.
