At Arkansas, it seems I recall hearing that Petrino never really made an effort to get Dyer. My question is this and it might be better answered by Ron, but what is Petrino's reputation as a recruiter? And can a guy like Petrino, if he doesn't recruit very well, have sustained long-term success based solely off his acumen as a coach? I like what he did with Arkansas but that was Arkansas and I never had any real thoughts of Arkansas being a threat to win the SEC West so I am trying to reconcile his lack of recruiting at Arkansas with his coaching acumen and how that translates to what a Petrino tenure at Auburn might look like. Thanks.
He was 3-1 against auburn with less talent. I am not in favor of CBP to AU, but that is some good coaching.
