Defeat doesn't finish a man - quit does. A man is not finished when he's defeated. He's finished when he quits. - Richard Nixon
If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?
So Joe did report the incident to proper authorities? The Police? Child Services? Oh he didn't. So he didn't do the right thing. How can his family not understand that even if he didn't knowingly cover up for Sandusky, his inaction was still wrong? His actions either way still enabled Sandusky to do what he did.
I completely agree with you. What I don't understand though is why isn't Mike McQueary getting the same blame as Paterno? All he did was report it to his boss instead of going to the authorities, same as Paterno. Why havent the janitors been outed? They admitted that they witnessed rape of a child but did nothing because they feared they would be fired.
