I've seen it posted several times, and in Phillip's coaching tidbits he mentions that Petrino wants the AU job above all others. Why do you believe that he wants to be the HC at Auburn so badly? He was the OC for only two season. I don't understand what his big connect to AU is?
Thanks in advance!
we have the hottest women in college football! And he has a great memory.

We got some hott ones.. But oregon takes the cake!
The Oregon cheerleaders, yes. The women in the student body: only if you like dirty hippies (or trust fund hippies--who are often quite attractive).
We have the total package for what Bobby wants. That's all. I was having lunch with Bobby Petrino and his wife the last hour he was in Auburn as a coach. They loved there time here. He left the restaurant, drove 3 miles to the Airport and 3 hrs hrs later, unbeknownst to almost every person in Auburn, was announced as the new head coach at Louisville. I should have taken him and Toney up on their offer for rooms and tix to Kentucky Derby! Toney is having a rough year at Houston.
But who would know it? There always wearing a raincoat and galoshes...
He wants to win championships and he knows he can do that at Auburn. He's a competitor. That's what motivates competitors. He's been at Auburn and he knows the level of commitment to win championships. Period. I'd love to have him or Bo Pelini. I think Auburn needs a hardass like Pat Dye was to get us back to a championship level.
he realizes that if gene chizik was able to win a national championship here then anyone can
My bad on his tenure at Auburn.
It's certainly not hard for me to understand why Auburn is great, but I also see the world through orange and blue glasses. I guess I wasn't trying to implying anything, however I feel like ever since he left Auburn he's been trying to come back. So I guess my question should have been what made such an impression on him that he's been trying to come back for a decade?
Pat Dye didn't even with Bo Jackson!!
I agree PM. If you spent one year in In AU...how could you ever NOT love it? The landscape of the campus is amazing. You would get to see one of the top athletic facilities in the nation every day you drove to work. And there isnt another place on the planet that you can find women that hott, people that friendly and cost of living so affordable. And the school system is one of the tops in the state as well. What more could you ask for?
As my sig says...Auburn just changes you!
If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?
Florida has many more than most. I get to travel to Gainesville about every other week and nice visuals. Just saying.
