Any thoughts on Prosch and his role with Gus's offense? Is it safe to assume he would take a role similar to Eric Smith?
I would think he would be a perfect fit in the role that Smith played in 2010. I don't think he got enough credit for his role that year. Key blocker!
WE COMING . WAR EAGLE !
Not PM or BM but I think he would be great in Smith's role. Also and more importantly, he would be great on 3rd and 1. The one problem I saw with Gus's offense was inability to convert first downs on short yardage with #5 carrying the ball. Obviously it was a lot better with Cam. I am excited to see what Gus does with these players. I think it develop into a very good offense.
I've wondered why he didnt get to carry the ball more this past year. I dont think he got many carries up north either.

Gotta think he plays the role Eric smith did. He has a lot more talent and better hands than Smith did as well...
Just like Eric Smith in 2010.
I'm thinking if we have half the offensive production of 2010 he'll make 1st team All SEC next year... I know that's a little over the top but with CGM's expected offensive#'s he should do well and maybe get picked up in the 2014 draft.
I'm pulling for him!
eric smith was tough......he might have had a hard time staying out of trouble of the field, but he seemed to have that little mean streak......versatile player, always hustled......and it seemed no one tried to mess w our players when he was around.....
"you're so vain, I'll bet you think this post is about you, don't you? Don't you?"
Agree with that assessment. From what I've seen of Prosch, I think he's a better blocker and may have better hands for the occasional short pass. After all he's been through, I really want to see him succeed and be a key contributor in 2013.
He will fit well in smith's role as well as lutz's. he has soft hands and made some nice catches when the ball was catchable.
Would love to see what he could do on that wheel route. Not many CB 's or Safety's would want to take him on with a full head of steam
I think there's a fit in any scheme when you have a hard nosed football player that is unselfish.

He'll be a stud. He has already shown that he not only is an outstanding blocker, but can carry the ball up the middle and make a catch out of the backfield when he needs to. Also, I don't worry about Prosch getting in trouble like Smith did.
