Today is a great day to love Auburn, a little better than yesterday but not as good as tomorrow.
Fearless and true.
ON TO VICTORY - STRIKE UP THE BAND
Performance stands out like a ton of diamonds. Nonperformance can always be explained away.
It may not matter much, but I have found one thing that makes me more comfortable. I no longer live in Auburn and cannot vote for council members, so I simply vote with my "pocketbook" - and have a long memory. Since I do not agree with tearing down part of Auburn history to put up a parking lot for a pharmacy, I will simply not use that pharmacy, or any other of the same brand, if there is an alternative solution available.
There seem to have been enough people using that method that the bank which "had to" tear down the Flush to make room for their parking lot is no longer in business.
I know that there are needs for shopping centers and parking lots, but, is saving or moving historic buildings to other locations even considered? It seems common in north Ala.
Making our opinions known, and reinforcing it with our spending habits can help. If there is anything left to save.
Thanks for the post! War Eagle.
Yes, I believe in Auburn.
