I was at Auburn the same time. 'Mothers' was right next door to Waldo's and they both used to have ridiculous drink specials to compete for broke college kids. Good memories.

Was Greely's the spot that used to be next to the Movie Pub in the mid-late 1980's? Then yes, OK, Greely's was it, big time. Movie Pub? Rocky Horror Picture Show? Mid-1980's? Anyone remember?
I remember the Movie Pub, War Eagle Supper Club, definitely Momma Goldburg's.

C.L. Torbett( not a club, but worked there), Harvey's and their upside down margaritas from a barber chair, and of course 4 for 1( I think) at Waldo Peppers on Monday Night for the hypnotist.
Thank goodness, someone my age. What was the name of the bar on the other side of the street from the Blocked Punt, and what about the one in the little brick house out neer the Supper Club ?
Mother's, Rusty's, Harry's, Tucker's ( $1.00 beer $.25 pool) Greely's, The Alamo and one of the greatest college bars ever...The War Eagle Supper Club. We loved to have the bus pick us up and take us home...(Once took a keg on the bus)...I was there a LONG time!
