Comparable to Highlands in Birmingham.
I am thinking of leaving town and checking into a hotel in Atlanta with my husband for the weekend after Thanksgiving and thought we could have a nice dinner. My favorite in Birmingham is Highlands - it is good every time and it isn't too stuffy.
I would love some suggestions. Thanks!
Two Urban Licks
TWO urban licks in Atlanta serves fiery American cooking. Live music Wednesday through Saturday.
I'm not familiar with Highlands in Birmingham but a quick look at the menu and website reminds me of the menu and atmosphere of Blue Ridge Grill near Buckhead off of West Paces Ferry.
Do you have an idea of which hotel at which you are staying? Buckhead, Downtown, Midtown?
Feel free to send me a PM...

Blue Ridge Grill is great. If you're in Buckhead, there's TONS of awesome places. My favorite is probably Chops Lobster Bar. Great steaks and seafood.

I was there last week...it was great. Ecco in Midtown is very good...great wine list
I LOVE this place. A little off the beaten track near Midtown. Good food, nice atmosphere, definitely not "stuffy."
jctkitchen is a favorite of mine as well.
