I am heading to the Beau Rivage in a few weeks. I was wondering if yall had any suggestions on good restaurants in walking distance or by a short cab ride of the casino. Looking for a decent place to eat but something not to expensive.
Most of your resturants are over on Pass Road. It will be a cab ride but there is this mexican spot that was on point and cheap drink. I havent been there in a few years so things may have changed.
Mary Mahoney...great red snapper
Mary Mahoney's - great food and nice surroundings - old building with lots of history. They have catered for US presidents and celebrities. Also, a totally different type restaurant - Biloxi Schooner is a local's style place with a daily special such as shrimp spaghetti and gumbo.
I was just there a month ago and the only thing in walking distance is the waffle house. They don't want you to leave the casino. You will have to get in the car to go anywhere or take a taxi. They have a couple restaurants in the hotel and have a good buffet so I recommend those first.
BR Prime is a steak house that's in the hotel....it's really good. Pricey, but also has a great wine list.

Mary Mahoneys used to have an owner or a manager that looked like James Carville. We were there for a meeting one time and he did a little stand up comic routine for our group. Hilarious. I agree, food used to be great, I haven't been there in a while
If you want to hit an upscale little spot with great steaks and local scenery, head over to Ocean Springs and hit up the Manhattan Grill
Happy days are here again!!!!
Mary Mahoneys is within walking distance, right across from Hard Rock. Half-Shell Ouster House is just up the street from Hard Rock and had char-grilled oysters that are very good. Freeze is correct, Manhattan Grill in Ocean Springs is very good.
It would be a shame to come to Biloxi and eat Mexican!
Mary Mahoneys. Short walk and outstanding food!! Worth a trip to Biloxi just to eat there.
Most of the restaurants in that part of Biloxi were wiped out by Katrina. Mary Mahoney's came back and is great. Just a block east and across Beach Blvd. Great seafood and the best prime rib and bread pudding I've eaten. I ate there weekly for13 years while living in Biloxi.
Not to close but of you drive about 10 miles down hwy 90 you can go to the Chimneys at Gulfport. Without a doubt the best food down there now.
This is my suggestion also... no need to ever leave the hotel complex. Dittos on the wine selections -
Overall this is as good a fine dining experience as we have been able to find on the Gulf Coast.
