Me and my wife are on our honeymoon in Tybee Island, GA and we are just trying to find out if there is anyone from this area that would know of some good places to eat or places to go? We have alot of pamphlets but we can't decide between them.
The wife and I went there last summer for a little anniversary trip. The Pirates House is a good place to eat in Savannah. Lots of interesting history there. On Tybee you have to eat at the Crab Shack. It is awesome.
I've got too much Auburn in me to act like bammer trash.
The Crab Shack is a tourist attraction, but the low country boil is really good...if you get a Pabst Blue Ribbon with it. The Breakfast Club is a tradition out on Tybee, you should get by there for breakfast. AJ's Dockside and North Beach Grill are decent. Stay away from the Dolphin Reef. Oh, and Huc-a-Poo's is a fun little place to go.
If you get into Savannah, Mrs. Wilkes is great southern cooking downtown (it's only open for lunch and I think they only take cash). It's better than The Lady and Son's and the wait isn't nearly as long. Another favorite downtown is Firefly Cafe. A couple of of other places right out of downtown and off the beaten path that are good are Sol and The Green Truck Pub.
I've been living in Savannah for 10 years and these are just some of the places I like to go on a regular basis.

Cafe Loco on Tybee, best fried shrimp in the world!
For dining options, in addition the those previously listed...
Uncle Bubba's (Paula Deens brother) is located between Tybee and Savannah.
Shrimp Factory in Savannah on River St.
Pearl's Saltwater Grille (15 min. from downtown Savannah)

Definitely recommend the Crab Shack. Great atmosphere.
Cafe loco and the crab shack hands down. Crab shack would be my first option
Breakfst club on tybee atleast one morning. Worth the wait
Crab Shack is a must for low country boil.
Huey's on River Street has better beignets (with praline sauce) than New Orleans and is a good breakfast place and lunch and dinner.
Clary's from the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil is also a good breakfast diner.
The Distillery has great fried moon pies.
The Crystal Beer Parlor has good She crab stew.
Jazzed is a yuppie place with good She Crab Stew and Cream Brûlée.
17hundred90 is more upscale but a little pricey
Tubbys (above Huey's) has good She Crab Stew.
Mrs Wilkes is really good southern cooking with a boarding house style. Not open on weekends.
B & D burgers is good.
Vinny Van Go Go's has good pizza.
Lots of good pubs.

It's Great to be an Auburn Tiger!!!

I'll be the 85th person to recommend The Crab Shack. There are a lot of cool pubs on River Street (Savannah). If you guys like dueling piano bars, you should definitely check out Savannah Smiles.
Just returned from Savannah last week. We enjoyed the Crab Shack on Tybee Island. Probably our best meal was at the Olde Pink House in Savannah historic district; little pricey but food & service were great. You'll need reservations.
All good choices. My Dad grew up in Savannah, so I try to get there every year. I spent at least 2 weeks each summer at Tybee. Nothing beats Savannah cuisine.
If you want a hamburger and a great meal for a great price... Green Truck...
Sol is just great food all around decent price ....
ALLIGATOR SOUL... pricey but better call for reservations...
These are where most of the locals eat....
The Breakfast Club is awesome!
