One of life's guilty pleasures. Receiving the text from my brother that "The McRib is back."
According to news reports, it's targeted for re-release in late December. I've ruined more than one tie with all that hickory goodness...
I like mine with extra pickles and no onions.
Long live the McRib !!!
Fervent fans of the McDonalds McRib will have to wait past October and November, when the cult favorite usually emerges, until late December, according to a leaked memo.
Who am I to judge someones culinary delights..BUT..those are the nastiest tasting sandwiches I've ever let cross my lips.
..........BEAT BAMA .................BEAT BAMA..................BEAT BAMA
Nothing better than that slab of processed rib smothered in BBQ sauce with pickles! Can't wait!

Only 2 things I am afraid of, women and the police. Gator McClusky
I agree. Last year when they came out I got one just to see what all the rage was. It was really bad.
Smithfield must have finally built up a good stock of scraps again...
don't get the attraction.
Best news I have heard this football season
"An Auburn Man needs no introduction"
Considering I live in the south, with little BBQ places every which way, with decent pulled pork sandwiches, I've only eaten maybe 2 McRibs in my life.
Unlike a potato chip, you can really only eat just one...ever!
But, to each their own...
"The thing about quotes from the internet is that it’s hard to verify their authenticity." --Abraham Lincoln
Alabama delenda est.
My grandson worked in a plant that makes the McRib. He said if you saw how they were made that you wouldn't eat one. Since I have not seen them being made I eat them whenever they are available and they are GREAT.
Really...So who's the Ronald McDonald who voted me down for not liking a McNasty??? Must be the Bama grad who's working the line at MackyDees.
FYI.....the McRib, the original formula, was actually created by an Auburn University professor. The real reason it was created was McDonalds was trying to find a cheap/healthier substitute to meat and it was found using a combination a seaweed/soy. Since that original recipe it has been changed several times.
Another fun fact: it costs 6.5 cents to make a McNugget. Make your own conclusions to that figure.
The mere fact that any food has to be manufactured makes it sound unappetizing to me...McNugget parts...I always wondered what chicken ribmeat was.
Again, to each his own, though.

Have you seen what they look like before they go in the sauce? They are literally gray.
You're thinking of the McLean.
It didn't take an Auburn professor to dream up a pressed amalgamation of fats, salt, MSG, and preservatives dipped into some decent tasting sauce.
kick 'em in the ass, big blue.
