3-star OL Wilson Bell from Blount in Mobile, Ala., has decommitted from UCF. He currently lists Auburn and Florida State as his leaders and plans to announce a decision on Signing Day. He plans to officially visit Ole Miss this weekend.
Thanks for the update. I hate it for UCF to lose such a good athlete so late in the game, but maybe that means good things for us?
All Auburn All the Time!
Hope he doesnt wait around too long or he might not have a spot.

I'm sorry if I've missed it, but has BM commented on the 4* OG Deon Mix and him visiting next weekend?
I don't think I had seen his name before the post last night.
How do you feel about our chances with Bell & Golson? Would we take them both or the first one that committed?

With the way his recruitment is going and how he changes his mind every other day, I would not be suprised if he had Ole Miss his leader after this weekend. I don't mean that in a bad way, but when 17-18 year old kids get all this attention, they seem to bounce from school to school on favorites. With that said, if Auburn would have offered months ago, then we would not be worried about his recruitment and he would have committed to Auburn months ago.

I'd say Golson has a spot if he wants it. Bell, on the other hand, runs the risk of having to crawl back to UCF if he waits too long.

I generally support kids taking their visits... but it really does seem like Bell is overplaying his hand. He should take a committment to FSU or AU, immediately and be the first one in with his paperwork on NSD. He could really end up on the outside, looking in.
It almost seems like he's trying to get back at AU for not snapping him up earlier. I hope he doesn't come to regret going down that road, (if that's what he's doing).
Is Bell the kid that did so well competing against some of the higher rated recruits at the Al - Miss all star game? Can't remember ...

Just read on another site where guard Deon Mix (ranked 3 star or 4 star depending on site) has decommited from Miss St. and that he is scheduling a visit with Auburn ...
Maybe he is a private commit with the school of his choice and therefore asked the coaches about announcing on NSD. Just a thought.
Some of the theories and thought process on this message board astound me..............
Thanks Bryan, looks like he is trying to do things the right way at least. Now he just needs to decide. If he is dragging this out because we did not offer sooner he has to remember there was also a changing of the guards so to speak.... they had a lot of ground to make up and a short time to do it! WDE
I really hope AU already knows.
