What if the boosters from Auburn, Southern Cal, UNC, Miami, Penn State, Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas, Miss State, Ole Miss, and others all put their resources together and decided that the NCAA should go away? If you can win a Presidential election with Florida, Texas, California, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee and maybe a few others, why can't the power in those states rid the world of the NCAA? Can the conferences not police themselves?
The NCAA doesn't make money on football. It's cash cow is the NCAA basketball tournament. I think we can all agree that college basketball is the dirtiest sport on the planet, but ironically the NCAA has gone after football programs. Given the recent move to a BCS playoff and the changes going on in the football world I don't find it strange that the NCAA is attacking football first. It's a shake down. Its essentially petty theft. A convenience store stick up. It's nothing more than a group of thugs trying to flex a little political muscle.
It's time to rethink our University's volunteer participation in this mafia-esq organization. I can rally one SEC fan base... but it's got to be bigger than that. I think enough people probably share my opinion, but the organization of influence, money, and power are the missing links. I think it's time for someone to sanction them.
"I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you."
That's just what we need, boosters making the rules ...
So what is Adam's end game here? So did he fund the change, or did he fund the confession??
What some of you need to realize is that most SEC teams bend/break the rules. I have no doubt that if we thought we had a steal in JR that we would encourage someone to make him eligible.
I am really shocked that some of you are that naive.
Defeat doesn't finish a man - quit does. A man is not finished when he's defeated. He's finished when he quits. - Richard Nixon
If that is true why do some of our recruits have trouble qualifying?
It's Great to be an Auburn Tiger!!!

Well hell, it would look pretty obvious if EVERYONE qualified.
