Since its been determind that the best course of action would be be re-hire Jimbo and the rest of 1998 staff, I think its time to start thinking of new catch phrases for the 2013 season to continue the long and irritating history of unnecessary lapel pins set forth by Jimbo's mentor, Terry Bowden.
In an informal McBigun poll, MedioCREEDity has been shown to represent our 2013 (and possibly all future seasons) football season.
Now the obivious question is "How come the letters A and U were not part of the phrase?" And thats a valid question. However, if you do recall Terry's 1998 slogan was W.I.N. or Whatever Is Necessary. So cleary a precedant has been set that does not require the A or the U to actually be part of the slogan. I will give myself creative credit for working CREED in though. Since the Creed has been such a large part of the current coaching search (what coaching search?) I felt it would be appropriate to include that as our part of slogan for 2013.
The other obvious question is "How is MedioCREEDity going to fit on a lapel pin?". The answer is I don't know, but I'm sure the good folks in China will figure it out.
As always, the lapel pins promise to be a big seller so be sure to pick yours up at the bookstores or around campus!
PS....they make GREAT stocking stuffers!
I got bashed for trying to make "AUful" our pin beginning after the Miss State game. Back then, "we were just young with new coordinators."
kick 'em in the ass, big blue.
Kids, (a) Changing speeds is more important than a curve ball (b) you play defense with your feet & (c) Wayne Hancock is the tits.
"you're so vain, I'll bet you think this post is about you, don't you? Don't you?"
