Anyone else on here not really want either of these guys?
I figured since AU was searching for a "proven" head coach, we would not put as much consideration into Gus and Kirby. I'd rather have someone with a track record of winning (more than one season atleast) at a big program.

I don't really want either one but for different reasons. I think both have a chance to be fairly successful as head coaches somewhere, someday. The experience thing isn't as much of a deal breaker.
My reasons 1) Gus recruits some questionable characters. That wouldn't be so much of a problem if he were able to keep them in line, but that hasn't been the case the past few years. 2) Kirby is coaching at West Vance. I know it probably shouldn't matter as long as he could come in and win, but I just can't stomach thinking about all the turds gloating about how we had to use little nicky's disciples to get back on track

If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?
Prefer Kirby. He is better for the long term and will hire a better staff. Gus wil keep too many of the current staff. Kirby is a better recruiter than Gus, particularly as to defensive players and in Georgia. JMO.
we need an established head coach with tons of experience. neither fits the bill.
