2006 against Florida: when Auburn blocked a punt in the 3rd quarter and Tre Smith returned it for a touchdown!
This is what it looks like when a man makes heaven

89 IB, actually felt pain
89 IB, that was back when we had paper shakers. I will never forget the noise or the orange and blue shaker dust that filled the stadium. What great memories. I thought I would never get that dust out of my nose. Everytime I would blow my nose it would be blue and orange!!!!! Lasted for what seemed forever. Anyone else remeber that?

Good friends are hard to find. Enjoy every moment you have with them.
2009IB, 2010 LSU
I used to complain about having no shoes until I saw a man who had no feet
89 iron bowl for sustained noise, not even close. One roar- '89 slack to wasden against the gators with 30 seconds to go-AU10 Fla. 7--saved that season.
2004 LSU, 2005 Iron Bowl

Anyone see MSU blatantly fake the injury?
Oh no he didn't
What I remember most about the '89 IB was the 'electric' atmosphere. I don't know if it was the shakers combined with the right humidity levels or what but there was actually static electricity in the air throughout much of the game. I have a photo of my new bride (married 2 weeks b4) in the stands with her hair standing up. I'd never experienced that before & I've never experienced it again. And yes, it was very, very loud!

1989 Iron Bowl. Loudest sustained noise in a stadium I have ever heard in the ~40 years I have been attending games at Jordan Hare.
From start to finsh, has to be 89 IB. Slack to Wright, Joseph over the top, and on and on.... I remember the blue and orange haze - hard to describe to my kids. Some honorable mentions - anyone remember Auburn running onto the field in orange jerseys for 78 GA game? For 5-10 minutes, it was chaos. 09 WVU (in the rain and after). 06 LSU on final play. Gotta love Jordan-Hare. War Eagle!

Strive for perfection in everything we do. Take the best that exists and make it better. When it does not exist, create it.
