Defeat doesn't finish a man - quit does. A man is not finished when he's defeated. He's finished when he quits. - Richard Nixon
I hope he does!
Ummm. I'm skeptical. Classy kid! But man, compare that to what Prothro did and how it ended his career, much less come back the next season!
Dr Andrews would never lead a patient on. If he said its possible to comeback, I believe him! Hope he does, he seems to be a fine young man.
I'm pulling for him too, just wish he was orange & blue.
I love Lattimore. Met him and he's a genuinely great person. But it would REALLY surprise me if he had a future on the field in football. I see him turning out to be a top flight rb coach and recruiter.
I wish the best for him in whatever he does, but those knees are both shot.

I was going to put a witty joke here, but I forgot bama fans still use picture books. So I thought I'd expedite the process for you...
I hope this kid makes it. Willis McGahee had a horrific injury in the NCG, rehabbed and had a solid career. If he can do it I know damn well that Lattimore can do it. It might take until '14 season to get back close to 100% but he's a fighter and has the right mental make up to prove the doubters wrong.
Over? Did you say over? It's not over until we say it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell NO!!!
I think he has the ability to be a beast in the right system in the NFL
Prothro almost died because of infections and complications after surgery.Marcus has had a much better recovery.I can see an AD type comeback. He can be that special back in the NFL like AD too.Love this kid, wish we woulda got him instead of Dyer.
I'm pulling for Marcus !
And because Auburn men and women believe in these things, I believe in Auburn and love it.
-George Petrie (1945)
I pray for this young man... Recovering fully in one year is so hard to regain full ligament strength in such a short time...
I wish him the best. He has had some bad luck.
The wheels on the bus go 'round and 'round.
Good luck Marcus... Your a class act..
