that was not possible was a score of one point (remember 3 to 2).
Oregon just had an extra point attempt blocked and the K State guy ran it back into their own endzone and was tackled for a one point safety............so I guess any score is possible in the game of football.
Just a little trivia.
Worry only about things which you can change, the rest will either work themselves out or kill you......either way, no more worries.
You can't score just 1 point. It was a 1 point safety because it happened on an extra point play. So for it to occur the team that gets the point would already have at least 6 points.
I agree with your point.
Conversly, I think if you block an extra point attempt and run it all the way back it is a one point score for the defense.
That's worth two points if I'm not mistaken.
Huddles are for rookies.
I thought a blocked extra point ran back would result in 2 points. But I thought what I just saw in this game would be 2 points too.
Now that I think about it, I think you are correct.
So..........I guess the one point score is the only one not possible.
I dont really think we need to worry about scoring one point while riding the Gus Bus
It's interesting that Oregon has scored three different PATs tonight - two point conversion first, then normal extra points and finally the one point safety.
It is ( But I guess you could stop before the goal line and drop kick it for one)
Lol, I'd like to see that. If I were the referee trying to score that, my head would explode.
+1 for inovation.
One way to get your name in the record book I guess!
Been watching football for over 50 years and not only is that the first time I've seen that, until tonight I had never even heard of it.

I think BG's got the only 6-1 scenario possible.
It would be interesting trivia to get the absolute corect answer. I may be dead wrong but i don't think 6-1 is possible. If the PAT is blocked and the defense runs it all the way back, it's 2 points. If the defensive guy running the ball back fumbles short of the goal line the play is over. Anybody know the hard facts?
Your post sounds resonable to me.
I have no clue, but we do know 3-2 is possible
1 is the number (as in the song) is the one in question.
