We have a lot of people who ridicule bammer fans for letting the results of their football team be such an important part of their lives. It is like a personal affront to them when bammer loses a game. Their entire existence is wrapped up with the results in a football game.
Folks, I am afraid we have a lot of people with that attitude on this board. When we lose it is like a slap in the face to them, and coaches should be fired for such an insult.
I hate losing as much as anybody, but I wake up the next morning thanking God that I am an Auburn Alum and not a bammer.
I started loving Auburn the first time I saw it in 1955.
I continued loving Auburn when I started classes there in 1957 and when I graduated in 1961.
My love for Auburn is perpetual, and I refuse to turn on anybody who is doing their best for Auburn, both in academics and sports.
